The "gundrill" is a type of drill specialized for deep hole machining and fine hole machining. When using a regular drill for deep hole machining, the cutting chips can clog inside, damaging the product or causing the drill to bite, which in the worst case can lead to the breakage of both the drill and the product. The gundrill processes by spraying cutting oil from the tip, blowing away the chips while machining. This allows for precise deep hole drilling.
